Collection: New Mexico Drawings

Made in 2015–2016 while Calvin Brett was living in New Mexico—first out of a truck and later with only what he could carry in a backpack—these drawings translate moments of awe in the landscape into lines, symbols, and repeated forms.

Drawing on Afrocentric traditions of rhythm and visual dynamism, the series favors intuition and abstraction over realistic representation. Each image is available as a 10 × 10-inch open-edition print, with free U.S. shipping.
